Forest Acres is a great neighborhood to live in especially with kids from elementary to high school ages. You are close to the best schools in Columbia, plenty of parks are nearby, and there is an amazing social atmosphere including places to eat and shop like Trenholm Plaza. The location is perfect since you can easily get on the interstate or head downtown within a matter of minutes.

Forest Acres is close to everything, and is a wonderful place to live. Has a wonderful balance of residential and commerical life. Forest Acres connects the City of Columbia to other areas of the state. Public schools in Forest Acres are ranked very high nationally and the police department is amazing.
I've grown up in Forest Acres my whole life and I love everything about it. The community is really close together and you see people all the time that you already know, everyone is nice and friendly to each other. Even though we are a suburb of Columbia, I feel like Forest Acres is its only little community separate from everything else. The neighborhoods are always taken care of, the businesses around here are top notch and the food is always on point, no matter where you go. I am beyond proud to call this place my hometown, there is no other place like Forest Acres, it is truly home to me.
