I've grown up in Forest Acres my whole life and I love everything about it. The community is really close together and you see people all the time that you already know, everyone is nice and friendly to each other. Even though we are a suburb of Columbia, I feel like Forest Acres is its only little community separate from everything else. The neighborhoods are always taken care of, the businesses around here are top notch and the food is always on point, no matter where you go. I am beyond proud to call this place my hometown, there is no other place like Forest Acres, it is truly home to me.

I live in Forest Acres, and it is the most wonderful neighborhood you can live in. Very diverse, affordable, and has an amazing community. Has a lot of community events that everyone is invited to. A lot of private and public schools are either in or near Forest Acres; very large choice of schools and all schools are top-notch.
Nice community. Neighbors are friendly and area is safe. Schools are great and lots of food and shopping. Traffic is normally medium to light. Very close to Ft. Jackson and horns signal time which i either hate or love. No in between. The area itself is gorgeous and LGBT friendly
