Fords is a nice small town, part of Woodbridge Township. Neighbors are friendly and happy to call Fords home. Also, it’s very safe to walk at all times of the day and at night. The police do roll by occasionally, especially at night, to keep the peace and make their presence known. Overall great place to live.

Fords, NJ has been my home for about 12 years. I’ve had the pleasure to watch it grow from a quite suburb to semi-urban. What I love most about my town is that it has become the perfect blend of small town and city life. Everything is no more than 20 minutes away. Need Clothes? Two of the largest malls in central Jersey are 10 minutes away. Need Organic Food? We have a Garden Market in the center of the town .I know people who have lived here for over 30 years and are still happy with calling it home. Although, I would love to see more community activities. Such as a local pool or a fun community fund raiser. Something anyone in Fords can enjoy together. We need to have more Fords pride.
We've been named #68 on the 100 Best Places to Live. Fords, NJ is going through its 2nd phase of development where many of our small, older homes are being replaced with very large homes priced at $500,000 or more. We are on a path to bigger and better things and our rank is sure to only increase as times moves on!
