      Fordland is a very small town. The people are nice but there really isn't anything to do in the town itself. It's a nice place to live if you like the quiet, country lifestyle. The city of Springfield is about 20 miles away, so you're never too far from entertainment and things to do.

      We moved to Fordland, Missouri almost 2 years ago and have loved living here since. We own 3 1/2 acres and there is an abundance of wildlife that visit us daily. We feed the deer in our front yard and have up to a dozen at some times in the evening.

      It is nice small town where everyone knows everyone. The schools are good and the community is always helpful. This is a good place to raise your children if you like living in the country atmosphere.
