Being a child of a city police officer the crime and safety in the area is impeccable. Local cops patrol the neighborhoods as well as state police. Criminals are criminals they come in all shapes and forms so to say that there is no crime in this area is absurd, but the fact that I can take a walk without being afraid of getting mugged or raped is safe enough for me.
Florida is a small and peaceful town in Orange County New York. It is the home to the black dirt region. The shops make it fun for visitors.
