Small town, big dreams. Florida really makes up for it's small size with it's loving community where everyone looks out for each other.
Being a child of a city police officer the crime and safety in the area is impeccable. Local cops patrol the neighborhoods as well as state police. Criminals are criminals they come in all shapes and forms so to say that there is no crime in this area is absurd, but the fact that I can take a walk without being afraid of getting mugged or raped is safe enough for me.
