Florence has the best of both worlds. If you desire peace and quiet, the country- side is available. If you need more noise from city life, your home could be closer to the major shopping stores. The music and downtown scenes are fun and full of interesting people. And if you have children- no problem. This area has a number of things and activities to do. It's southern hospitality at its best!

I love that Florence is a small town with all the amenities I need from a bigger city. Florence has a university (UNA) which means there are plenty of opportunities to experience arts and culture from the students there. The school system has been amazing. Having the Tennessee River run through the area also means lots of opportunity for water fun!
It's always been a pleasure to be in Florence! The city is easy to navigate and there are plenty or areas to enjoy. There's also plenty of housing and job opportunities for people looking for a place to live. For visitors, there are plenty of sights such as the University of North Alabama or the Regency Square Mall to shop for souvenirs!
