Flora is a nice little town, it has come a long way definitely and has gotten better, especially in the area of diversity. I live on Petrified Forest Rd and when I first moved here, it was predominantly white, but over the years more minorities moved into the neighborhood which was great!

The community is small and very close everybody knows everybody,I love that Flora is a safe place to raise a family, I would like to see more businesses. The school system is wonderful. We have a few restaurants one being a good place to get some good ice soul food from, TOWN AND COUNTRY is the name.
I like the "mayberryness" of the town. Small, Safe, Calm, Friendly. Etc. The only down side is that, in being such a small town, it is rather cliquish and it can be hard to become a excepted and cared for part of the clique. But all small towns are kind of like that and this one is no different.
