I have never been happier living anywhere else! Flagstaff is the perfect place to live if you love the outdoors. I have the ability to walk out of my apartment door and fine dozens of walking/hiking trails within a five minute walk of me. Besides the benefit of being engulfed in one of the largest the beautiful Ponderosa Pine forests, the town and people alone are a whole experience in themselves. Everyone is always warm and welcoming here; it has been a beautiful experience.

Flagstaff is an overall great community to live in. The town is nestled below the San Francisco Peaks, which provide an abundance of natural beauty throughout all four seasons this city experiences. Flagstaff provides the perfect backdrop for an abundance of outdoor recreational activities such as mountain biking, snowboarding and skiing, running, hiking, and mountain climbing. The people of Flagstaff are diverse, welcoming, and there is a an overall appreciation for the Flagstaff community. Downtown provides ample restaurants, shops and boutiques, and the town hold's many community events throughout the year such as the annual pine cone drop at New Years, a weekly farmer's market, and annual festivals "Hullaballoo" and "Oktoberfest". The city's small size makes commutes across town quick and painless. Flagstaff is known for having excellent public schools and is home to Northern Arizona University.
I love living in Flagstaff, AZ. I am a very outdoorsy person who enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, and hiking which are all conveniently located right outside my door! Walking is a common form of transportation due to the city's smaller size, if not the bus system is also very convenient. The price of housing however is incredibly high, and hard to find.
