It's a really great little town with a ton of recreation opportunities and an overall very safe environment. It has a small town feel but with the added benefit of having two large grocery stores, along with a handful of restaurants. Great middle point for being in between both Denver and Northern Colorado so just about anywhere you want to go is very easily accessible!
I love living in Firestone. It's right by 1-25 so it's a 30-minute drive to Denver, Boulder, Loveland, Ft. Collins, etc. It also has grocery stores and is 15 minutes outside of Longmont which has good dining and shopping. It's more quiet than Longmont and has a great sense of community. I wish that they would build more shopping in Firestone, but overall I think Firestone is a great place to live!
It's a small town that acts like a small town. All of the private-owned businesses are reputable and fair. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because there are so many houses being built, but there are no roads to accommodate the rapidly increasing population.
