I lived in Fergus Falls most of my life. It's a great place to have a young family and grow up. I always feel safe in Fergus falls and the neighborly atmosphere throughout. The community supports each other through it all and shows tremendous support for the local schools and sports teams. There aren't a lot of opportunities for teens once they get through High School, it would be nice for the town to provide more options for these students. Fergus Falls lacks diversity which leads the community to have mire closed minds and judge anything that isn't the typical lifestyle. I wish Fergus Falls could be a more inviting environment for all genders, race, sexuality, and religions.

Fergus Falls is a family-friendly community that care about each other. There are several small, local businesses that the Fergus Falls community tries to support. Fergus Falls is known for having several churches, banks, and elderly people. The community seeks to provide events and opportunities for different ages and groups of people within the community.
What should change is business, there are few places to shop and lots of restaurants. The resturants are very delicious but i think Fergus Falls should invest in more for children to do other than the ymca and the bowling alley, kids dont have a lot of options to go out anx hang. With friends in Fergus. More places for kids to hang out and more stores to shop in would make Fergus grow in population and popularity. When kids grow up they nove away because theres simply no fun to do in fergus falls.
