There isn't much to do around town besides hang out in Walmart parking lot, and the amount of fast food restaurants is painfully depressing. The atmosphere is rather dingy as well, but there are many upsides to the town as well. The connections with people and the natural landscapes that come every few miles are nice.

Fayettville is a beautiful little town in South eastern Tennessee. The people that live here are family oriented and especially kind. We love our town and keep it clean and open to all visitors. We work hard and provide for not only our own families but we take care of one another as a whole. We have beautiful a beautiful country side with green hills and running creeks and springs where out children play and grow. Our farms provide food and give our children as sense of tradition as they grow. I don't think there is one thing I would change if I could about my home town, it is the most pleasant and giving place I have ever lived. It gives you a feeling of home no matter who you are or where you are from. We welcome visitors from every where and make them feel as welcome as family. Our job opportunities are as plentiful as any city.
Fayetteville is a small town. This small town is great for local foods and antique shopping. However it only has one good bar to go out for some night life. As well as a historic movie theater which is enjoyed by the elderly and youth but not those of us in between. There is little clothes shopping except the few stores on the square but they will cost you. There is little diversity in this small town. It is a good 40 minute commute to Huntsville alabama and a hour and half drive to Nashville Tennessee. The small town has a slaw burger festival and host of christmas past that generates revenue .
