I enjoy Fayetteville a lot. I work for a financial company and work with many great people! The housing market is good and the job market is also decent. My office moved me here from St. Louis and I prefer Fayetteville over it. I would definitely recommend Fayetteville to anyone looking for an affordable, comfortable, family loving city. North Carolina as a whole is pretty good, I rarely travel to the other cities outside of Fayetteville, as Fayetteville is the metro city for the area, so everything I would want is in the city, unless I want to travel, which makes its convenient location to Wilmington a huge plus for the beaches and around 5-6 hours from D.C., 8.5 hrs from NYC, and 3.5 hrs from NC mountains, nothing beats it.

In Fayetteville, we have a military base located here. This is nice advantage in the city because it adds to the diversity of people. The city has a sense of more security with the base and constant training's going on locally. With more and more families and soldier's coming to the town, the city is constantly growing! Jobs are being created with new business being added to the community. With the population growing a pro would be more activities in the city are being offered or created. Something that I would love to see change would be the traffic flow. With the population growing rapidly so is the traffic making it difficult to get your destination in a timely manner.
I've live in Fayetteville, NC practically my whole life. I was born at Cape Fear Valley, graduated from Douglas Byrd high school, and I'm a current resident as of now. This city is really big with shopping centers, and restaurants. Not many places to hang out and have fun besides the movies, and the mall. I love that it's a military friendly town, and these service members are recognized! Something I would like to change would have to be the quality of our public schools.
