Farragut is very clean, beautiful town! Love it there, has a nice Lake there too. Good Schools and Churches
I enjoyed growing up in Farragut for the most part. Living in suburbia was nice in many ways: pretty scenery, big trees, birds chirping, safe sidewalks. But it's a conservative area, and I've never felt fully at home here. I have grown apart from many of my childhood friends and been rejected by others due to them being religious and me being LGBT. I felt particularly uncomfortable during the 2016 election. I had neighbors who put up massive Trump signs, one even going so far as to hang a banner across her whole garage door, which made me feel unsafe and alone. I know that these people who adored me when I was a cute little kid, my neighbors, also actively vote against my rights. People say they want to move to the suburbs to raise their kids, but I don't think it's worth it if you're just raising them in a hateful, hostile enviornment cloaked in warm Southern hospitality.
Farragut is a beautiful community. There are walking paths all round the town to encourage you to get outdoor and move your body, which I love! There are also all the amenities you could ever want with a small town feel. The school are some of the best in the state and lots of family friendly activities multiple times a year. With so much at your finger tips in Farragut, it’s hard to not fall in love with the town and surrounding areas.
