I love it in FarmVille. It’s a great place to live once a person retires. The people in this town is so loving and polite. The town of FarmVille have a few good historical places you can attend to learn about history of that town. In FarmVille, they even have a college there you can also attend called longwood college. I myself thought a about attending there as well. It’s plenty of place you can choose to eat from there as well. They have a Walmart, Foodlion, Arby’s, BugerKing, Huddle House, Granny bee’s, Applebee’s, KFC, Pizza Hut, Chick-fi-lae, Frosty Frog, Dairy Queen and many more. If you wants some good quality clothing, they have a Belk’s, A Cato’s and many more. They even have a Game Stop for those who live to play and trade games. If you love shoe’s, they have a nice store called Shoe Show. FarmVille have a few selective pawn shops, Faxing places, Banks, Gas stations and a Habitat place.
I've lived at Farmville my entire life, and although there's not really anything to do, It's a pretty place and good place to live if you don't care about what there is to do, There's all your basic stores, Wal-Mart, Starbucks, Dollar tree, There's even a dance center! You can go bowling in your free time, too. Its a great place to live for families and collage students.
Farmville is a small town committed to the Universities. There is very little to do and very few places to work that provide a living wage with the ever growing cost of living. If you are a young or middle age professional, you will struggle to find a place to live and will most definitely travel for work. Personally I do not see where Farmville is striving towards economical development. It is a quiet town for the most part. Restaurants are sitting empty, retail spaces are priced to rent as if Farmville is a large city. The rental rates for the few homes that aren't ear marked for students is astronomical. I often wonder what property owners are thinking when they charge $1400-$2000 per month for rent based on the median income in Farmville. I have lived here for almost 3 years and have seen zero growth in regard to employment. The shopping center where Walmart sits is filled with trash and debris all the time. The only thing clean is "in town" where the upscale stores are located.
