A quiet small town right outside of Fayetteville. Absolutely gorgeous rolling hills. real estate is cheaper than in Fayetteville and it is easy to find something brand new or something with a little character. There is a trail system and a nice park for the kids or a dog. My favorite restaurants are Briar Rose, a delicious bakery, and Daemons BBQ
I've lived in Farmington for over 13 years. The town was still growing when I first started going to school here. I remember going to elementary school and recognizing every single person in every single grade. Now that I'm a senior, I still recognize every single person, but it's not because it's a small town. I recognize everyone because of how much my peers love to socialize. I hardly notice any forms of harassment, if any. The school has a growing arts program and just built a brand new stadium a little over a year ago. When you watch a game on Friday nights, the only thing people seem to notice is how gorgeous the view is. Imagine an orange sun, peeking over the mountains and bringing out all of the trees on those mountains. That's what we experience every Friday night. Along with the beautiful stadium, the school built an auditorium and basketball court in 2016. It's shocking to see how much Farmington has grown. This town is more than a dream and I'm glad to live in it.
I love how everyone knows everyone. It is also a community that is always there for one another during tough times. The schools are great and overall it is just a great community to live in.
I've lived in Farmington for about 11 years now and it has consistently grown and improved each and every year. It is a great place to live with good real estate, good schools, good community environment, and has everything you need right there.
I have lived around Farmington my whole life. It's a great city to raise kids in and the schools are fantastic. Even though the town doesn't have much nightlife the next town over Fayetville also has many great big city amenties and is only a few minutes away. There are an abundance of jobs and plenty of big business to make a real career for yourself.
We would like to see healthier restaurant choices, a more diverse neighborhood, less churches. Our city is quiet, we do have a grocery store near by—within walking distance! We have great neighbors
Farmington is a nice sized town considering it is right outside of Fayetteville. It has nice features and an even better public school system.
