I have lived my whole life in Farmington and this city has shown nothing but love and support. I went to all Farmington Public Schools and they have an overall good education system, it could definitely use some improvement. Farmington Hills is very safe and quiet. Everyone knows each other and come together as a community to work towards greater for each resident of Farmington Hills. The police staff and firefighters are very responsive, and respectful. With Farmington Hills always getting new friendly faces it keeps our community youthful! What we could work on is having more healthy food options instead of fast foods and more activities for our youth and our senior citizens to participate in.

I've lived in Farmington Hills for over 10 years now. I went to middle and high school here. I've had great educational opportunities: learning multiple languages (japanese, French, German, etc. ), spent senior year at OSTC (Oakland School Tech Campus), and many clubs/ student organizations to name a few. This is also a good place for students to have a part time job year round. The biggest drawback is having to commute at least 20-30 minutes (in good traffic) to the nearest community college; a university is even further.
I came to live in Farmington Hills after an auto accident. Our first day, a neighbor called the police to investigate whether we had stolen a bike parked against the fence on an empty lot.

Though I have lived here for 12 years, there is as yet minimal positive report.

I must take on more than some of the blame, for when we moved in, it was to be a temporary residence. As I dealt with declining health issues, I was less willing to participate.

Luckily, time here has been fruitful in creative endeavors, and thanks to the doctors at H.F.W.B., my health and mobility issues are slowly, yet steadily, being overcome.
