I have lived my whole life in Farmington and this city has shown nothing but love and support. I went to all Farmington Public Schools and they have an overall good education system, it could definitely use some improvement. Farmington Hills is very safe and quiet. Everyone knows each other and come together as a community to work towards greater for each resident of Farmington Hills. The police staff and firefighters are very responsive, and respectful. With Farmington Hills always getting new friendly faces it keeps our community youthful! What we could work on is having more healthy food options instead of fast foods and more activities for our youth and our senior citizens to participate in.

Both Farmington and the neighboring city of Farmington Hills have lots of diversity in our residents. The subdivisions are kept beautifully maintained and residents work together as a close community.
Our downtown area is quaint, it has unique restaurants and great shopping. Our farmers market was rated number 1 in Michigan!
Both my children went through the Farmington school system, which I would rate as excellent. My son chose to pursue a teaching career due to his experiences with outstanding teachers. 21 years ago my husband and I moved to Farmington Hills and plan to live here into our retirement, we love our community.
I love Farmington Hills, I was born and raised here and I would not have wanted to grow up anywhere else. It is a very homie, diverse town and has everything you need from convenient stores, malls, grocery stores, to landmarks, tourist destinations! We have a lot to share in our small town.
