Due to having a small community, Farmington Hills is extremely tight-knit. I know so many people in town, and I can ask for the "ole' cup of sugar" from my neighbors any time of the week. We have a swing dance almost every Thursday night in the town square with new people attending each week. Every year, everyone gathers for the annual Miss Farmington at the local theater, which I participated in one year. The security here is impeccable, and all of the police officers are extremely friendly and exceptional at their job. The living spaces are affordable and spacious with choices of condos, apartments, or a house. We have a distinguished education system with some of the top schools in Michigan in our area. The town blossoms with wooded areas and hills, and has a gorgeous fall. The one thing I would change is the variation in job opportunities. Other than that, I am so blessed and grateful to reside in this beautiful community where I have created so many wonderful memories!

Farmington Hills is a welcoming neighborhood with a multitude of benefits due to the geological location of each necessity. There is an abundance of housing options ranging from apartments to mansions all within a fair area of separation, allowing job opportunities to not coincide significantly with a housing option. Parents can be assured of their children's safety on route to schools with roads that are consistently monitored for security. The area provides a much more tranquil atmosphere instead of a flamboyant haven with nature taking a large role into the city aesthetic. However, there is a gargantuan list of outlets that reside nearby the city that can accommodate opulent desires. This city is geared towards people who prioritize their privacy and integrity of choice within their lives when searching for their next housing and entertainment opportunities.
I have lived my whole life in Farmington and this city has shown nothing but love and support. I went to all Farmington Public Schools and they have an overall good education system, it could definitely use some improvement. Farmington Hills is very safe and quiet. Everyone knows each other and come together as a community to work towards greater for each resident of Farmington Hills. The police staff and firefighters are very responsive, and respectful. With Farmington Hills always getting new friendly faces it keeps our community youthful! What we could work on is having more healthy food options instead of fast foods and more activities for our youth and our senior citizens to participate in.
