I have lived here my whole life and I really don't have a desire to leave, I have loved living here. It has grown alot in the past decade but the city has adjusted well to the growth and has taken advantage of the many opportunities from it. We have an awesome amusement park called Lagoon, farmington is in a great location to both Ogden and Salt Lake City, only around 15 minutes commute to either, there is a great new shopping center called Station Park in the heart of the city. There is alot of pioneer history that has been preserved over the years as well as the beautiful Wasatch Mountains to the east. The school system is top notch and a new high school just got built which is very high tech. Overall Farmington has some of the nicest residents you'll ever meet and is a great atmosphere for families!
It is a great area filled with many resources and recreational areas. I would recommend this area for those looking for family friendly places and something to always do. It is home to Utah's amusement park and many great restaurants and shopping places as well as ponds and great hikes. Living can be a bit expensive here, but it is worth every dime. It is located near the heart of Utah and is great for commuting North or South.
I love living in Farmington. I still consider it a small town, but in recent years it's undergone a facelift and now has impressive retail and dining options. It's also one of the safest cities in the state and I never feel uncomfortable just walking around. It's also conveniently located, with easy freeway access and close to other cities. The city is always clean and well kept, you can tell city leaders take great pride in keeping the city beautiful. It's also surrounded by natural majesty, with beautiful mountains and lakes within a quick drive, so there's no shortage of hiking and walking trails.
