My experience in Farmersburg over the past 31 years has been good. Everyone knows everybody. This is probably one of the last places in the country where you can leave your house door unlocked and nothing will get stolen if you leave to go to town fifteen minutes away. Neighbors say hi to you if your outside kids play outside without the fear of being kidnapped because if someone is out side like a neighbor he's watching them and the kids don't know it but he is. And that is what america is missing these days.

I have lived here for 6 years now. It is a great community to raise a family. It is amazing how safe and that you can allow your children to go play outside without worrying. I would only change a couple things to the town of Farmersburg. One would be having mail delivered to my house. The second thing would be getting all the roads paved.
Farmersburg is a small town, with a close community. Everyone shows much support for the schools and kids' events.
