Fairview Shores Reviews
Fairview Shores is a very friendly area of town. There are always new businesses and restaurants opening so its fun to hop around town and check out the local scene. It is safe enough to be outside in your own neighborhood either for an early morning run or a late night stroll. The only thing I might change is the traffic. All of the recent I4 construction has made it difficult to get around town quickly during the rush hour. I hope for a speedy construction process to help alleviate this issue.
I've lived here my whole life, it's rather quiet area. Lots of shops, close to downtown Orlando. The schools are average and the people are too.
I have lived in this area my entire life. I'm 19 years old and have watched my neighborhood steadily decline over the years. When I was a child, people kept up their yard, you would see children playing all over and feel a general sense of community. Businesses were booming and you had a fair choice as well as the option of delivery. These days, the neighborhood is known for its drugs and prostitution. It's not uncommon to see a girl working a corner at the entrances and exits of the neighborhood. Multiple businesses have closed down and nobody lives in these homes for more than two years.
