Fairport is a decent town but everything seems to close at 8 pm (unless it's a Sunday then it's 5 pm). The people of Fairport seem to act as if they are a step above other towns (ex. Penfield) but if you bring up a place like Pittsford they would say that everyone in that area is a snob before turning around and going there for a nice night out. Overall, nice location and nice scenery but the people are too negative.
I love the walk-a-bility of Fairport; being able to be connected to several restaurants, activities, and small businesses all within a 5-10 minute walk. The ambiance is collaborative and everyone is relatively kind, promoting that "good neighborly love" energy.
I love everything about Fairport! It is a beautiful suburb surrounded by other towns and a city. The public schools have great athletics, music programs, theater programs, and academics. I lived there up until college and I plan on returning to a suburb of Rochester after I graduate!
