My experience in Fairmont is ok! It could be better. My family live here. The things that need to are the way of living like better things for kids, shopping, and better town commissioners that truly caters about the community.

I grew up in Fairmont as a child, and as I got older. I always knew I was a country girl. Riding four-wheelers, horses, fishing, gardening, and having camp fires is what I love. Smelling the manure in the farming fields isn't so pleasant as times, but you get use to it. I would recommend country life is great.
Fairmont is a small, rural, histortic community. Fairmont was very popular in the tobacco industry before the "buy-out". The residents in Fairmont knows everyone.
