I love living in Fairfield! I enjoy being in the middle of Sacramento, Napa, and the rest of the Bay area. I feel safe in this neighborhood and would recommend people living here. I see a lot of people walking and kids playing in front of their yards. Everyone is friendly and I can honestly say I even feel safe walking in the evening. My neighbors always say, "hello" when I walk by their house and they are outside. The weather is something I do not enjoy sometimes because it gets super hot in the Summertime. I usually stay inside however, the heat comes inside my house. Overall, I love living in such a safe neighborhood!
It is a smaller-than-average city with limited resources, development, and entertainment. Although there is much room for improvement and growth, there is a great amount of diversity as well as affordability for all ranges of income. There is an abundance of restaurants and establishments that celebrate this cultural diversity, as well as equal opportunities for every citizen. This city is average because although it offers affordability and the community is close-knit, I feel as though the city could be greatly expanded and improved economically and architecturally, as well as accommodate more entertainment and shopping for the locals.
The Bay Area has been a huge mecca for job opportunities but with it comes a lot of expense and has extended out even as far as this area. Most career-type jobs are going to be a drive from this area unless your career is medical. Like any other area, there's always a concern for safety in specific places in town. Anything near the mall I wouldn't recommend. Nightlife you need to go to San Fran or Davis but there are tons of beautiful hillsides and trails to run to maintain a healthy lifestyle!
