      Fairfax Township is the rural area between the small towns of Scranton and Carbondale in Kansas. The residences are spread out. There is a lot of pasture ground for the grazing of cattle. You will also find farm ground to grow corn, wheat, soy beans and occasionally milo. This area has wildlife such as white tail deer, red fox, coyotes, bobcats, raccoons, opposums, and more. If you like to have your privacy and country living this is a great area to call home!
