Exeter Reviews
Rating 4.07 out of 5 15 reviews
I like that Exeter still feels like the country and where I live there is close enough to the highway to not be an inconvenience. There is a lot of nature to love and enjoy here! However, one thing that I do not enjoy that has changed from when I was a child growing up here it the constant flow of traffic. It is not often quiet here and cars and big trucks can constantly be heard.
I have lived in the town of Exeter since junior high. It was a challenge to move from more of city life to such a rural area, however, I adjust to it rather quickly. The peaceful quiet, the sounds of wildlife, the spacing between each residence, was a refreshing change of pace from the busy street filled with traffic at all times and having houses one on top of the other. I have always been a huge animal lover so moving to the town of Exeter where it was common to have chickens, cows, horses, and such in your own back years was simply amazing to me. As far as schools go, I enjoyed the fact that it was smaller class sizes and you were able to know so many people so much quicker and easier. Exeter provides such a truly amazing sense of community, togetherness, and support to each other. It really does have a feeling of one big happy family.
Beautiful community, plenty of green space, great school district.
