Everly is a good, small community. Everyone knows everyone, which I know isn't always the greatest. But that also means that everyone watches out for each other. Children can play in the streets without having to worry too much. However, beings that it is also very small town, there isn't much to do. Residents have to drive atleast 15 minutes if not 30 to find something fun to do.

I have grown up in Everly my entire life. While the town itself isn't really exciting it is the community that makes all the difference. Everywhere you go there is always a friendly face. I was able to know everyone in my high school and form lasting relationships with several. If you are looking for something to do the Iowa Great Lakes is just about a 20 minute drive providing plenty of activities. Spencer is closer yet which is where most do their shopping. If you enjoy the hustle and bustle Everly isn't the place for you. If you prefer a more relaxed life with friendly people I'd give it a look.
