I would never live here again, but I cannot deny that Collegeville has always made me feel safe and I've never felt "overwhelmed", which is how my friends describe living in the city. The burbs are boring, yeah, but there is opportunity to have fun and enjoy life if you seek it out. Something I really dislike about the area is an air of pretentiousness. Everyone mostly keeps to themselves on the surface, but when your back is turned they will get nosy and all up in your business. Lastly, I can't stand the local law enforcement. There is basically no crime, so they spend their time profiling minorities, skateboarders, and young people. One time me and my buddies were walking to a convenience store around 2 AM, and without any sort of provocation a police officer stopped and searched us as well as calling on 4 more cars for backup. What gives?

There's basically no crime, just young people drinking or smoking weed, which somehow seems to aggravate the locals who it doesn't affect. The police are overly intrusive and appear to be out to get everybody, especially minorities and young people.
Mix between middle class- upper middle class houses, judging by their size. Mostly single family homes with at least an acre of property. Houses in developments typically all look the same.
