I love Espanola! I've lived in Espanola all my life and I have to say it is the best town despite what others who do not live there say. Yes, we do have a drug problem but what town doesn't? I love Espanola and everyone in it! Everyone in this town is so friendly and nice. We treat each other with respect and we treat everyone like family. This town has our own unique style and we don't let other's take advantage of us. We take care of each other and we make sure to look out and stand up for one another. Espanola has a reputation for the classic low rider cars which makes our town special. Espanola has been together as a team as long as I can remember. We make sure to stand our ground and get through difficult times together. Espanola has been my home town for 31 years and I plan to spend the rest of my life in the beautiful Espanola Valley and teach and show my children our traditions and hope the best for them. Espanola is a good town and I love it!

I have lived in Espanola, all my life, born and raised. Although, it is a small town in New Mexico, without much to do, except a couple of casinos in Espanola and surrounding areas, I enjoy living in this small community, because it is my home. Home is where the heart is! Home is also where family and friends are. There is a real pride in this community and the people that come from here are very proud of being from here, with their low-rider cars and trucks riding around town or the 4X4 trucks, used for going hunting and gathering wood to sale from the near by mountains. I would say that it is not a bad place to come from or to live.
Growing up in the Espanola area was both a good and bad experience. As any other town, it has it`s pro`s and it has it`s cons. Espanola is a little town that is filled with rich culture. A lot of people take great pride in their farms and cars. There is delicious fresh produce here come harvesting season. The chili here is sinfully good! You have to try it...! People are family orientated here, it`s very sweet, generally everyone is friendly here. One thing that I wish could change is the problem that has swept this nation. Substance abuse............. It is really sad when you see a young talented person waste their lives away. I think it is a issue that needs more attention to one day hopefully find a solution to.. We should all be able to prosper beyond any statue of limitations. The world is in our hands...........................
