Growth! Over the last few years, more businesses have been allowed to build and develop in Escalon. However, many are still turned down because the town wants to keep its "small town" feel. Unfortunately, this makes life difficult for those families that simply can't afford to pay the monopoly-type prices of the businesses in town. Let some growth occur, give your people some opportunities.

Escalon is a small little Agriculture town in California's central valley. Due to its small size, it has a close knitted community and almost everyone knows each other in some way or another. The majority of the job opportunities revolve around agriculture. There are tons of acres dedicated to almonds and pasture. There aren't many choices regarding schools in Escalon, but they have pretty good teachers.
The people and town are very welcoming and inviting. Overall, its a good, safe place to raise a family. Everything one would need is a 5 minute car ride away, or withing walking distance. From living in Escalon I can tell you that if you want to see a movie, or go to the mall you have a 20-25 minute ride out of town. But overall its exactly what you would hope a small town would be,
