Top Public Schools Serving Erwin
I grew up in Erwin and found that there isn't much to do there. Most of the residence turn to drugs, whether that be because of lack of entertainment or lack of mental health services. It's quite dreary place. I wouldn't recommend anyone live there unless they're looking for cheap housing, willing to commute, and don't have kids that would be enrolled in the public school system.
I love the small town atmosphere. Everyone knows everyone and it's not a large, busy town. All the houses are old Denim Mill Houses. They have beautiful character. You don't have to go far for the eccentials like food, groceries, or gas. I'd love to see the town expand some of there events, such as the parades.
My overall liking to this area has grown in recent years, this area has upgraded in food restaurants and activities for the younger generation to do. Having things for the younger generation to do is what Dunn, NC really needs because the younger generation is what brings people to Dunn, and what makes people want to stay in the area. Dunn in between Fayetteville and Raleigh, North Carolina so if adults want to go out and have fun, then it will no be too long of a commute. Even when looking at the job aspect, those people who like to live in a small town, it will not be a long commute.
