Working in Ennis
Ennis is a nice place to live, everyone knows everyone and there is a lot of development happening here! Buc-ees, Chick Fil A, New housing coming in. Downtown is getting revitalized, I would recommend everyone to check this hidden gem out.
I love the fact that it is very homey here and everyone knows everyone. It is very pretty and the children here have very good schools to attend. There aren't a lot of jobs, but the city is nearby which makes it easier to find a job as opposed to if you live in a very rural area. The town is quiet and they have a lot of festivals which are attended by people all over. Everything is within walking distance and you don't have to go far to find someone you know or are kin too. The crime rate is low and the housing is fair.
I Love Ennis I have lived here for 8 years and it is the most amazing small town you will come around! In the winter they light up the town with lights and do a parade downtown, it truly feels like you where picked up and placed in a "winter wonderland" and in the spring time oh my goodness it is 'blue bonnet paradise". The town that I live in has a very unique charm with roots deep into history.
