Englewood is a small town in Florida that is a major tourist attraction. Just about everyone grew up together and remembers one another from these experiences throughout grade schools. The beaches of Englewood area major attraction to tourists since they are not crowded and are a clean environment. Boca Grande is an area of Englewood where all tourists will visit, even celebrities. It stays warm throughout every season, which is also what makes it so friendly to people from out of town. All in all, it is a great place to raise a family without the busy city bustle while also staying ten minutes away from the beach.

I see this site lists the median rent at in the 800.00 range. Not so. Its 100-2500 and even higher in snowbird season plus here they charge 3x the rent to move in and they dont take care of the rentals like they should.
Native residents hate outsiders. I know, I moved here 6 yrs ago. It is a very standoffish and unfriendly place unless you meet a transplant. The driving is horrible. Beautiful beaches. Lots to do in close by Sarasota but the unfriendly people are very disheartening.
Englewood is a very calm area compared to bigger cities like Tampa, but there's still plenty to do! There are a handful of Gulf Beaches withing 30 minutes, to include the beautiful island of Boca Grande. Everywhere you look, there are locally owned restaurants and other small businesses.
