Emmett Charter Township Reviews
Moving here from sunny South Florida when I was eight, skeptical would be putting it lightly. The first time I went out to see the snow in November of 2005, my brother shoved it down my back until I was balling! It was nothing like the sand. But, as time went, this place grew on me. You have to realize that the people make the place. The people here are great and I now know that this is the place that made me who I am, and it will always be apart of me. To have been able to see it grow almost twice as large in the past ten years is remarkable. I would never have gotten to do that in Florida.
I grew up in Emmett and moved there when I was seven and I loved it. I lived two miles from the baseball field and basketball courts where I frequently spent a lot of my time with my friends building great relationships and memories.
Overall, I enjoyed growing up in the area. I had a good experience here, even though there were definitely areas that could have been better. It's a good location, relative to other cities and attractions. There isn't a ton to do in the city itself, but it's not difficult to get to other places. I would prefer something a little busier, like a larger city, but it was okay to grow up in a slower area.
