I've lived in Elmwood Park for all my life. While living here my whole life, I've experienced some good times here. The significant part of Elmwood Park is I've had some of the best neighbors in the world who are the type of people you never want to leave behind. If I were to be stuck and needed help, they are there for me within 5-10 minutes as well as being able to come over and talk about life. Another good part of the town is the fantastic food we have. We have a great restaurant row as well as the Down Town circle building up more restaurant options. Finally, what is excellent about Elmwood Park is that they do offer a lot of family activities to do and try to get more people involved in the community by having concerts and movies in the park, festivals, and tastes activities.

We lived in the city, but after seeing the crazy prices to buy a home we found a nice alternative. We have our awesome Chicago bungalow on a quiet street in Elmwood Park. Never heard of this town, but glad we gave it a chance. Neighbors are friendly, close to the city, still has an urban feel, while being a suburb. Love that we have an alley and didn’t totally do the typical suburb vibe. Nice diversity, and I heard the schools are solid. Could use some hip bars and restaurants, but people tend to stick to chain restaurants or affordable spots. That might change as younger families make their way here.
Elmwood park is a nice place to live and very safe environment. There are many things to do and eat around the area. There usually is no loud noises throughout the way A pattern of symbolism that I noticed in Ceremony is the lost of culture the Native Americans are having throughout the book. With the events like Tayo’s mother being the first in becoming part of the white society and to Josiah talking to the Night Swan these are all events and actions that show that Native American people are slowly losing themselves to a different culture. These patterns develop a theme of the novel because the novel is from a perspective of a Native American and the story is about how the reservation and Native Americans are being challenged by the white society to take over the Indian culture fully.
