Ellington is a small community of people from various backgrounds in a rural farm town setting. Ellington folk are generally outgoing and adore their community. It is a great place to grow up, and the education system here is above average. However, Ellington is small and lacks exciting things to do. It is a small community, so the most exciting things to do are often in surrounding towns. Ellington does have fantastic ice cream places, including Kloters Ice Cream Barn near the center of town.

Ellington is a wonderful community to be. Everyone is very involved in ensuring a warm, safe atmosphere. Farmer's Market is something to definitely go to! The education system is excellent for the children. Only downfall is the drive to get to a highway.
Ellington is a great town to grow up in. It is very family oriented and the school system works hard to help everyone succeed. They have great academics and athletic programs. There are also a lot of community events including a lovely farmers market on Saturdays!
