I've actually been out of the country for some years but coming back coming after so long and seeing that not much has changed, that feeling of nostalgia just felt so amazing! I love how friendly the people in this community are which means a lot to me. Although it might be small compared to it's surrounding neighbors that's what makes it all the better. Everything someone might need is close, I can actually walk to most of the places I need to go to without stress. It is also a very safe place to live in as well. Knowing I can walk around knowing nothing will happen to me unlike other places is extremely reliving. And because of that it is a very diverse community of lots of people from different backgrounds. So if you want to to live in a safe, loving , and fun community I would totally recommend living in Elkridge!
It’s fairly quiet but close enough to most gas stations, convenience stores, and/or spots for food! It’s centrally located near Columbia, Hanover, Catonsville, Ellicott City, and Baltimore City.
Howard County is full of diversity! Lots of chances to meet new places and try foods from around the world. The county invests a lot of money into its schools and public libraries. The Elkridge Library is beautiful and has so much to offer for children, young adults, and a 55+ center!
The Elkridge Fire Station hosts Food Truck Fridays during the summertime, and Cindy’s ice cream is close by.

I absolutely love the city of Elkridge. It is absolutely beautiful, and while you're there, it would be an amazing time to drive around and go to many places to take wonderful pictures in the city to keep as memories to look back on. I love that there are so many places nearby that doesn't take long to drive to. I could also walk to some of those places. When it comes to the food, homes, stores, restaurants, and many more things in Elkridge, it can be considered a "perfect place" for people who are visiting Maryland. Another thing is, the city, and the state of Maryland in general, is pretty diverse, especially in central Maryland, I would definitely recommend hitting Elkridge for a visit, even if it's just for a few hours. The people there are quite nice, there are excellent services, for food, traveling, or directions to places you want to go to. The schools are excellent in Maryland, and it's considered one of the most educated states in the United States of America.
