Elkland Reviews
Rating 3.67 out of 5 3 reviews
Elkland is an extremely small town; however, it is well put together. It contains several small businesses that offer unique opportunities to the area. Elkland only contains one school for grades K-6th, so teenagers have to transfer to schools 20-30 minutes away.
Elkland is a town that is okay to live, depending where in the area you are living. There are overall four schools in the area, one being an elementary only. Plenty of Preschools, churches, and a few parks. It is a town that comes together every summer for fast pitch softball and one that can get rowdy. There is the Commons which is for low-income families and summer lunch programs provided for children. Overall it is a community full of opportunity as long as you know your way around.
I like the people that live here because if you are 8n trouble they help you to get through the troubles. Plus if you get behind in bills they try to help you with the money.
