I like living in my little town, born & raised here. Elkhorn is a small town, I believe we have a population of approximately 10,000. The schools are good, there is a lot of family involvement. The community often offers community based activities such as, festivals, parades, and a community pool. We known as the Christmas Card town, because we have an artist that creates a new special Christmas card every year that features a hand drawn picture of something from the local area. Elkhorn is also the county seat of our county which is Walworth County. We host the Walworth County Fair that is in it's 156th year & is one of the larges county fairs in the US. In closing Elkhorn, WI is a great place to settle, raise your family and become a life long resident!

We live in the Lauderdale Lake area and it's quite the hidden gem. The lake is only about a mile walk and a minute drive. We live in a circle and there's not much traffic. It's so quiet out here in the country. There's always wildlife roaming about such as deer, turkeys, etc. It's beautiful every night when the sun goes down, the sky opens up, the stars come out, and it's like nature comes alive. I was really apprehensive about moving "way out here" three years ago, but I'm so happy I did!!!
Elkhorn is a nice small town. It has some restaurants and a small-town vibe. This makes a good, close community where you know a lot of people. It is very easy to get around in and can be good to start a family. However, there is not much to do for fun in this town, you would have to drive 20 minutes to Lake Geneva or Delavan for any activities.
