I've lived here all my life. It is safe, family friendly, and has great weather! I also work here and the commute isn't bad at all. Would highly recommend.
Elk Grove is a perfect place for families to live. It is remotely safe. There are several parks all over the city to take your kids too and Elk Grove also has one of the largest school districts in California so there are many options for schooling. It is also only a street away from Sacramento. Elk Grove is very diverse you will see people from all different races and backgrounds, and everyone is pretty accepting of the diversity in the community. If your looking for a quiet, diverse, family-friendly city this is the place to move to!
Elk Grove is a nice place, there are many stores and restaurants to choose from. Lots of the high schools are surrounded by areas of hangouts for students, it's nice to get an afternoon drink or snack after school. A lot of the communities there are welcoming, many homes and neighborhoods. There are a lot of people residing in Elk Grove, many vehicles on the roads, and sometimes crowded areas.
It’s a beautiful community to live in. School is amazing. The trees are beautiful and the parks are clean
I think Elk Grove is a good and affordable community for many people. It is family friendly, diverse, and offers good service.
I have lived in Elk Grove for 13 years and am happy to see that the city is expanding. However, I think the city needs more nightlife options and to get more businesses.
I feel very safe in Elk grove. Since it is constantly expanding, I like how Elk Grove is beginning to open new shops and places to dine in. Elk Grove also has many job opportunities for kids in high school or just for people looking for a job.
It's a beautiful neighborhood that has a really good school districts and is the neighborhoods of Sacramento county.
My experience here in elk grove has been great. I moved here from Sacramento and the schools here are very good. I go to Cosumnes Oaks High School. One thing that could be better is the bus transit system because it takes a very long time to travel 5 miles and if you miss the bus, you have to wait a very long time. A way to fix this is to have more buses on the roads that work with smaller bus routes. Other than that, elk grove is a pretty good place with lots of stores and restaurants close by.
A really good place to reside. I came in 2018 and I love it here!! The schools are really good and it's very family-friendly. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets close to your home. Beautiful parks and places to see
Elk Grove used to be a friendly country town and that is just something I miss of what it used to be.
I like living in Elk Grove because the public schools in the Elk Grove Unified School District offer a high quality education. The neighborhoods are safe and people are friendly. The nightlife isn't the best but I'd rather live in a safe, calm neighborhood than one that is dangerous because of its crazy night life.
Elk Grove is a very good town. There are not a lot of robberies or break ins and there is plenty to do in the community. There are a variety of places to eat and activities to do and plenty of good schools in the area.
I have had a pretty good experience living in Elk Grove. it might not be the most exciting place to live in, but it if you want to live in a fairly diverse community, and have peace and quiet or even raise a family, this would be perfect place to do so.
i like how the cmmunity is still pretty small but is expanding, i also like how theres a lot of food and beverage places to go to with friends and family. one thing that can improve is the trash around the city
The people are very friendly and warm. There are all kinds of stores that people may like to check out, that fulfills their needs. The cost living is pretty moderate. If one wants to find some place to settle before planning to move to a much bigger city, Elk Grove would be a pretty nice choice. There are a lot of public parks. It offers a goof suburban feel. Also , the chance of becoming a victim of violence or any sort of crime is 1/52. Sacramento is very close to Elk Grove. It also provides a beautiful scenic backdrop of country living and reminding us that Elk Grove's past is still a big part of our present-day city.
A small, quiet, suburban town. Nothing special about it, but a very average town. Lots of different neighborhoods enveloping shopping districts.
