Elizabethton is a quaint, beautiful small town rich with long term residents and offers a family friendly environment. I have lived on the border of Elizabethton for the entirety of my life and have found it to meet all of my daily needs including multiple grocery stores, convenience stores, restaurants, gas stations, gyms, shopping, healthcare facilities and outdoor activities. Some of my personal favorite attractions of this town are the the Tweetsie trail for biking, walking and running, the Sycamore Shoals State Park and also the covered bridge over the Doe River. Elizabethon may be small, but it surely doesn't lack in beauty and options!

Elizabethton is a very warm and welcoming city. There are a few parks scattered throughout the town as well as a lovely biking trail that connects to two different cities/towns. The downtown area has a few lovely coffee shops and eating options. If you like antiques, there are a few stores and Friday nights the downtown area is blocked off for an antique car show. If you like a slower-paced rhythm in life, Elizabethton is the place to be.
