Eldridge is a growing city and is a good place to raise a family. I grew up in Eldridge and I appreciate the community. Because it is growing, new places to eat and new things to do are popping up, making it a more interesting town. Overall Eldridge is a pretty safe community. Because it isn't a very large or populated community, commute time isn't an issue, as you can get anywhere in town in 15 minutes or less. The schools are above average and the cost of living is less than most of the surrounding areas. The community could be more diverse and could have a more active nightlife though.

I absolutely love living in Eldridge! It's just a few minutes away from Davenport, but it still has that small town feel which is extremely welcoming!
It is a very nice area. There are multiple parks around and the area always looks nice. The people I have met there are generally kind and considerate of others. I wish it would stop getting bigger because the town is invading the farming area.
