I love my small community. The people surrounding me are amazing and caring. We have many different shops and centers that make this town interesting and fun. The local businesses and farmer's markets are fun to support. The schools in this community are all good schools with teachers that care. The medical and safety personnel are always responsive to help keep us safe. It is nice to see the personal side of them when the police officers and firefighters come to our neighborhood Fourth of July celebration or bring Santa around town. There are a few things I would change about Eldersburg. There are increasing amounts of homeless people and poverty in this community. This is saddening to hear and I wish we could come together further as a unit to help these people. I do not have any grievances with the legislative body and legislatures we have representing us but I hope they continue to uphold our rights, our safety, and the safety of our surrounding environment.

Eldersburg is a great small town to raise a family in! The public schools in Eldersburg are great and have prepared me for college. There are many different things to do around the town, such as locally-owned restaurants and stores in the downtown area. Great community and easy to meet people with similar interests to you.
I moved to Eldersburg after retiring from teaching university in Beijing. Our neighborhood is comfortable, close to doctors, shopping and restaurants - as well as close to Baltimore & D.C. attractions. Housing prices are reasonable and schools are superb! I can't recommend Eldersburg enough.
