Egg Harbor Township is a great place to raise a family. The public schools are very diverse and offer a wide range of classes and extracurriculars. The town is a great place in the summer, just 20 minutes from the Atlantic City beach and Ocean City beach. Atlantic City is a great location for nightlife and has casinos where entertainers and singers preform. The town is very safe, friendly, and diverse. Go EHT Eagles!

My house was built in a great spot in this town. I am generally 10 to 15 minutes away from where I need to be. My neighborhood is set up nicely where we can interact with each other, but we are not over top of each other. Each house has the right amount of property for enough privacy. This town is filled with Wawas and now a Royal Farms. The police are probably the most strict in the area, which is why the crimes ratings are low. The school districts are very diverse. There are staff members, usually of higher authority, who sometimes lack to be supportive toward students. There are students who may cause problems at school because of unknown reasons, but instead of trying to help the student improve with simple support, they often tend to hold grudges and treat them as if they don't belong in school at times. They will continue to speak to them as if they have already done something wrong instead of being an encouraging character in their life.
I believe that Egg Harbor Township is a great community that helps a neighbor out when in need. We deeply care for another and I've seen it, such as the Foodbank continuing to grow as mere strangers support struggling families. Despite the community, Egg Harbor Township is one of the most expensive in auto and property rates. Many people have moved out as the job opportunities have declined, and it's truly saddening to see it crumble down. There should be more job opportunities for people, as this is a relaxing and rural area that people should experience just once in their lifetime.
