Being a current resident, I can say Egelston is a very quiet and friendly township. You always see someone you know so there is always a friendly face to greet you at the local places.

There is little problem with crimes and police are near the area often due to a four way stop. There was on problem with someone stealing a license plate, but that ended quickly.
It is a nice area. People are friendly, but others will snitch. The owners of the area are very picky on how your yard works. Overall it is a nice area and a great place to live.
