- Suburb of Greensboro, NC
Rating 4 out of 5 3 reviews
A quite and generally undisturbed area. Being surrounded by woods and the occasional houses, neighbors are not close, physically or emotionally. There are occasional gun shots due to the aforementioned neighbors and have had problems with domestic dogs in the past. Overall, the trees and landscape create a natural barrier from disruptive aspects of society.
I have lived here for over a year and love the community and atmosphere. There is not much to do in this little town but very close commute to Hillsborough, Chapel Hill, Mebane and other big towns like Burlington. This is a quiet very remote area and land can be a little expensive but very worth it. I highly recommend living here creating your own little slice of heaven in the country, you will not regret it.
Note that I have not done much in Efland, per se. Living in Efland, however, offers access to good schools, safe environments, and the like.
