Edmonds has a vivid and rich culture. The ferry is always a nice afternoon activity for many, and the beaches are always beautiful. Downtown Edmonds has cozy storefronts, bakery's, and culturally diverse restaurants that welcome anyone who passes by. The rustic statues, depicting families and sailors, vignette the orca whales and passing boats. The architecture found in town is notably detailed, and is colored with deep blues, soft whites, and vibrant wood stains. This town has been more than a home for me. I wouldn't choose a different place to live in Washington. This welcoming community has housed me and my family for years and is the perfect place for anyone interested in the pacific northwest. Edmonds serves as the perfect slice of Washington, and I wouldn't want it any other way.
Edmonds is an adorable small town on the edge of the Puget Sound. While the downtown boutiques and restaurants are a bit pricey, they all offer exemplary service and products. The best of Edmonds are the community events (though they aren't being held during COVID), such as farmers markets, music festivals and food fairs! If you want beautiful scenery, head down to the beach parks and sandy shores, or to the ferry headed to the peninsula.
I have been living in Edmonds, Washington for almost 2 years and have enjoyed every moment of this place I call home! Edmonds has a wide variety of activities including Taste of Edmonds, where you visit the downtown area to experience an assortment of foods and local vendors, as well as an Art Walk illustrating all the wonderful talents in our community. There is live music and theatre and there is amazing food near the water at Salt & Iron (my personal favorite). There are upcoming destination locations such as Kelnero cocktail bar and The Market fishmonger & eatery as well as beautiful sunsets on the waters of the Puget Sound. To anyone coming to Washington, I recommend making a trip to downtown Edmonds - share the happiness that it brings just as I do for you.
