I like the town of Edison for multiple reasons. There are many places to visit and quite a bit to do. You can go out with your friends and family to the mall, parks, golfing, bowling, and so much more! There are many events that are open to the community such as the Fall Festival which makes for a greater sense of community. It is a fairly large town in which you constantly see people going out for walks, runs, etc. The parks here hold multiple events such as plays in the park, mini concerts, holiday-related events, and more. There is always something to do in the town of Edison. You can find shops and food representing different parts of the world showing a lot of diversity. One thing I would add to Edison would be to try and find a way to mix in all the diversity we have here. There are people from all over the world and from multiple different cultures. I think holding some sort of townwide event to host all cultures would really help the community grow and get closer.
Edison Township is filled with vibrant and diverse cultures. Home to people of all walks of life, the choice in cuisine is unlimited and spectacular. Schooling here is rated very highly and is competitive, however, schools are over populated. In addition, due to excellent schooling, property tax is expensive. Despite the exorbitant amount paid in property tax, Edison lacks sufficient recreational activities for its residents, such as parks. When going through the neighborhood, Edison is generally extremely safe and family friendly! I've lived in Edison almost my whole life and the people I've met are ones that I will never forget.
I love Edison Township! It is such a safe town with beautiful neighborhoods filled with many houses. I loved my time in the schools here up until middle school, then switched to a magnet school in Woodbridge for high school (still an Edison resident). I feel safe being able to be out on my own and I've made great friends here!
