Eden Prairie is a magnificent place to live. The schools are spectacular! They provide students with additional help in subject they are struggling in and have numerous activities for students to participate in. The parks are amazing in Eden Prairie. They are well maintained and updated regualry. If I had the choice, I woudl one hundred percent choose to grow up in Eden Prairie. People are humble, caring, and overall very friendly.
Review Eden Prairie
Eden Prairie is in the southwest suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota, about a 20-minute drive from the Twin Cities. It's a small city known for its great public schools, its many walking paths and parks, shopping centers, and restaurants.
There's a wonderful balance between mother nature and city life, and as a visitor or a resident you can escape into any one of the wooded public parks Eden Prairie has to offer.
Just a short drive further west on highway 5 (about a 5-10 minute drive) is Paisley Park, Prince's home and long-time recording studio. Our beloved neighbor passed on April 21, 2016.
You shouldn't live here unless you have a lot of money. Somalians have taken over in rental areas and let their kids run wild and scream and yell. The parents only yell back at them and they are very aggressive. I'm glad my child is only 2 because I would never want her in school with these kids. I am a substitute teacher and I see how much the Somalian children distract in the classroom and cause problems and chaos. They are very loud, rude and disrespectful as neighbors too. If you have plenty of money to buy a nice house with some property, then it's an ok place to live. There are many restaurants, stores, a community center, churches, daycares and jobs. I do believe the area is overpopulated. The layout of the central city area is kind of confusing and round about, which a lot of people do comment on. If I had more money so I could avoid the Somalians, maybe I would stay. Don't feel as safe as I would in Chanhassen or Minnetonka.
