The town of Easton, MD is a very beautiful small town located on the Eastern Shore. It is mainly a town for retired people so because of this it is very beautiful, unique, and safe. The most beautiful part of Easton is Downtown Easton, it is filled with many historical buildings which include the old Avalon Theater, The Tidewater Inn, and many small local restaurants and shops. Most people know each other and despite the size, it is like a small city with 16,514 people. Since it is mainly a town for retired people and since it has so much beautiful conserved history, it is very expensive to live here. Homes should be made more affordable. My experience in the town of Easton has been very good and I'm very glad that I was able to grow up here.

Easton, Maryland is the gem of the Eastern Shore. The town boasts beautiful historic homes on tree-lined streets, gourmet restaurants, and lovely shops. Easton is well situated by Route 50, which will take you directly to Washington DC in only an hour and a half. It's also a great spot for those who enjoy traveling, as New York City, Baltimore, and Philadelphia are less than 4 hours away. Additionally, the picturesque towns of Oxford and St. Michaels are only a 20-minute drive. Easton's rural location and proximity to the water provides a wide array of activities, such as boating, fishing, kayaking, and camping. The town also has a few museums and gardens, as well as the Avalon theater - where several distinguished artists have performed. However, it may be a limiting location for the budget-conscious and young adults looking for things to do. Nonetheless, Easton has both the charm of a small town and the luxuries that suit sophisticated living.
I've lived in Easton for about 3 years now. It's great! The area is so welcoming and the people are so friendly. We sometimes take walks downtown at night for looking at the beautiful things in the shops. I have made such wonderful friends in my years of public schooling here. They are all from diverse cultures and backgrounds. This is why Easton is excellent!
