Easton is a perfect blend of small city and suburb. It’s conveniently located less that 2 hours from Philadelphia, the Jersey Shore and Newy York City! It’s also cheaper than all three of those places. Downtown Easton is becoming cleaner and more welcoming for everyone. It’s a great town.

NO NIGHTLIFE DescriptionEaston is a city in and the county seat of Northampton County, Pennsylvania, United States. The city's population was 26,800 as of the 2010 census. Easton is located at the confluence of the Delaware River and the Lehigh River, roughly 55 miles north of Philadelphia and 70 miles west of New York City.
Enjoy a walking tour of our historic sites,a leisurely horse-drawn carriage ride through our historic district or a pleasant mule-drawn canal boat ride along Hugh Moore Historic Park. For real excitement, bring your children to the Crayola￿ Factory and our National Canal Museum. Easton is also home to Lafayette College, one of the finest institutions of higher learning in America and one that is in the top 10 schools in the country for four-year graduation rate.
In Easton, it is a very safe and friendly environment. The public school provides a strong education and the students and staff are very supportive of the decisions that you make. There are plenty of activities to do as well inside the town. For example, there are public tennis courts, basketball courts, a rec center, and nice trails for runners and bikers. The high school has recently added two new turf fields for soccer, field hockey, lacrosse, and football. The people in the town are supportive of all the school activities that happen throughout the town. In my opinion, Easton is one of the best places to be if you are looking for a local area with many activities to stay active and be safe.
