Pretty much just hicks and junkies. The school system is awful, with accusations of racism constantly bringing in scrutiny. Every kid at EHS is probably on drugs or going nowhere and the saddest thing is we all all know it. The streets are flooded with empty nip bottles and down town reeks of pot. However, the businesses there are nice and Mt Tom is beautiful

It's a fairly small city filled with pizza and coffee shops. The people of Easthampton are always friendly and welcoming to out-of-towners. There are many options for adventures such as hiking Mt. Tom Reservations or strolling on the Bike Trail. If you want a relaxing spot to read a book or take your children, you can visit the Nashawannuck Pond, then later treat yourself to some signature ice cream at Mt. Tom's. It is a safe and wonderful place to raise a family.
