I have lived in Eastchester for the majority of my life. I attended school in the Eastchester School District from kindergarten through high school. My parents always ranted and raved about how good the education system in Eastchester was, and as a soon to be high school graduate, I couldn't agree more. I have always felt safe in Eastchester, and learning became something that I loved due to my teachers and fellow classmates. Eastchester has many opportunities for children and adults to get involved around town, in constructive and helpful ways. Eastchester will always be my home, despite moving far away from college. I will always be grateful for the memories Eastchester has given me.
Eastchester is a great community for families wanting to live near New York City but not willing to put up with the hustle and bustle of City life. However, there are very little places to eat or shop or hang out with friends nearby and the public schools are tiny.
