Eastchester is a beautiful town, with class and elegance. Not far from the city.. has an urban yet suburban feel to it which I have always loved. Plenty of stores in close to eachother, for the most part, you can walk, especially if you are closer to the main towns. You also have Bronxville and Tuckahoe which is a sub town of Eastchester, so there are plenty of upscale and midscale resturants, bars, pubs, lakes and running trails nearby. Eastchester is also pretty safe for the most part. I used to live in upstate NY (Dutchess county) and I perfer this town over my last one! It is a little expensive but again, it's Westchester county so, you get what you pay for. This town is far more safer and everyone is pretty welcoming for the most part. I recommend this town 10/10!
Nice village Tuckahoe and Spring Hill Suites to stay at short term for business. Only issues were being woken up every morning by village street sweeper with loud vaccum before 7am every morning with other guests on my floor. Not many local small businesses to patronize. Usually only local people born here are allowed to enter with credentials and village birth certificates. Mostly private membership at coffee shops, etc. Reservations have to be made Year’s in advance to enter with references
Very good Tuckahoe public works department but I and many families along Marbledale, Fisher and Columbus Avenue being woken up every morning for 18 years like an alarm clock before 7am . Many residents had to sell their homes and apartments after years of complaints that were ignored by local government management. Noisy village.
